Conferences & Retreats
InterVarsity holds various conferences and retreats throughout the year, providing students with opportunities to get away from the campus and experience Scripture, worship, training, and community building. Conferences are a great way to connect with other students on our campus and other campuses on a deeper level. We often partner up with InterVarsity at Stanford's undergraduate chapter, among other chapters in the Silicon Coast Area, for our local area retreats.
Immerse Conference (Fall Quarter)
Join us for a weekend away in the Santa Cruz mountains, as we explore Jesus' life and its relevance to ours. Experience multiethnic worship, small group discussions, and an incredible message from our speakers. Also enjoy hikes through the redwoods, late-night games and conversations with friends.
Where: Ponderosa Lodge, Mount Hermon
When: Oct. 27-29, 2017
Ethnic-Identity Conferences (Winter Quarter)
We're a multiethnic community, and we believe that our race and culture are an important part of how God made us. We have some different conferences for people to explore that within their own ethnic context. At these regional conferences, you will have an opportunity to meet other students from schools all over northern California. Check back soon for more information!
Pursuing Racial Justice Together
*Must attended an Ethnic Identity Conference before going to Recon*
Spring Conference (Spring Break)
Spring Conference is a chance to come and experience God in the Scriptures during Spring Break at a camp. All students have the opportunity to study the Gospel of Mark manuscript style. It's an incredible time to connect with friends, as well as a great way to explore faith or deepen your relationship with God.
