Mark Camp (Spring Conference)

Mark Camp is a chance to come and experience God in the Scriptures during Spring Break at a camp. All students have the opportunity to study the Gospel of Mark manuscript style. You want a real Spring Break you say? We moved the dates to accommodate! Camp is from Friday-Wednesday, giving you 4-5 days afterward to be at home without interruption! When: March 23-28 Where: Mt Gilead, Sebastopol, Ca Registration coming February!

Bay Area Urban Project

A six-week intensive summer experiences where you will learn about poverty, justice, the urban context, racial reconciliation, spiritual warfare, biblical community, and lifestyle issues. These issues are addressed from significant study in Scripture. Participants live in community with teammates in various neighborhoods in urban neighborhoods, where they will work at a nearby site. Most sites work with urban youth, but they also include ministry for drug rehabilitation, for the homeless, and for the elderly.

San Jose Urban Plunge

A one-week trip to the inner city of San Jose, California. During that time, students will learn from scripture and through experience about God’s work in the city. This trip partners with existing organizations in San Jose that offer hands-on learning experiences. This trip combines service opportunities and learning about God’s love for the city.

Ethnic Conferences These conferences help us explore our own ethnic identity. We discuss the redemptive parts of our culture that honor God and bring us closer to him. We also talk about the the deep culture history and issues that can sometimes divide us from other cultures. By knowing ourselves and being able to celebrate our identity, we can better love people from other ethnic background and appreciate cultural differences and values. This brings us closer to InterVarsity's mission of cross-cultural community and understanding.
